      I am giving this place 1 star for one reason.The pharmacy is absolutely terrible. There is usually only one person working at any given time. Over half hour wait times, including the drive through. That’s terrible. I mean how hard is it to staff your damn place of business correctly. I have no qualms with the rest of the store or staff, if you can avoid the pharmacy, please do. I would give this more stars but the management at Walgreens seriously needs to address this problem.

      Went to Walgreens in New Castle De, Ferry Cut Off Store today to get a flu shot. Signed up and was told as soon as paperwork came through, I would get my shot. Waited and signed final paper work and was told to go to waiting area. Waited again. The waiting area smelled bad, it was unclean and trash laying around. Finally pharmacist came, gave me my shot. Total wait time was around 40 minutes. I mentioned to the pharmacist how dirty the area was and told him I had taken photos of the area. This really gave me a bad impression of this Walgreens Stores. I have been in much cleaner Walgreens Stores.

      The store it’s self is perfect however the pharmacy is so horrible i have to give it a 1 star. I have been coming here for years expecting change but nope…nothing they have like 2 people in the whole back section this is so unprofessional. Hire more people you guys make millions

      Walgreens, 1120 Pulaski HWY, Bear, De

      Horrible!!

      This Pharmacy is THE WORST Pharmacy that I’ve ever been to in my entire life. I just moved to De from Pa and at times I just want to drive back to Pa to have my prescriptions filled. They have you on hold for 10 minutes or more just to lie and say they’ll have your prescription ready in 15 minutes. The drive thru is ALWAYS packed with cars waiting a minimum of 30 minutes just to be seen. The staff are over worked and it shows in their body language and customer service. It’s a sad situation. However, it’s not our (customers) fault. They chose this profession and location to work at. Don’t take out your work related issues on undeserving customers. We have our own issues going on outside of waiting around hours for prescriptions to be filled by not so friendly Walgreens employees. The only great thing about this Walgreens is that it’s 24hours.

      I think everyone needs to know how understaffed this store is. I can see they’re doing their best. I can see it. We all should see it. Just call Walgreens doesn’t give them enough support doesn’t mean we should take it out on them. I can tell they’re doing their best. Ethan the store manager has helped me SEVERAL times when it comes to the pharmacy. Ethan is the GO TO GUY for this store. I really appreciate his efforts in helping me every time I go in and there is some type of problem. I think as society we are so quick to judge when it comes to retail. These people are doing the best they can and are going OVER AND BEYOND.
