      Just want to give a compliment to Dennis, one of the best sales associates I’ve encountered in the past year.

      Came in on Sunday while driving up to Philadelphia. The local guitar centers near me, in NOVA, were out of stock of the bass amp I wanted. When I checked first thing in the AM, the Laurel store had 1, so I thought to pick it up on the way.

      They sold the amp I wanted before I got there, but Dennis made sure to triple check in the back and even asked another associate to check as well. When they didn’t have it, he looked up inventory in other stores for me, as well as advised on other amps that might be a good substitute. He also gave me some good advice on live vocal microphones as well for my home karaoke system.

      I ended up going with an alternate he suggested and I’m very happy with the purchase. Great service still exists in 2020!

      This place is horrible. I been here 45 minutes. 15 of those minutes I was near the DJ department. No one came to help. I approached one of the associates (young lady) at the counter for help , she pointed to another associate who was already helping someone else. I approach him and he gives me the one minute finger and here I am 30 minutes later typing this review. Ive been in one spot so long customers think I work here. Why would I spend my money here?

      Informed and friendly staff, excellent selection. Be sure to check the times they are open prior to going, or you will be escorted out politely when they are ready to shut the doors.

      I took my turntables here to sell about a month ago. In the process of selling them, I decided to just use that money to order a DJ controller on the spot instead. This process took well over an hour to accomplish.

      A week later I go to pick up my order (which had to be shipped in from Dallas), and I open the box to find that it did not come with the power or USB cables nor the case that it was supposed to come with. I addressed this while still in the store and after the staff member left in the middle of assisting me to make beats with other customers for 20 minutes (with no one else stepping up in his absence despite me being the only customer waiting to be helped), I was told “We’ll call the Dallas store to see where it is and contact you when it’s here”. Days later, follow up call number one, same response. “We’ll call Dallas”. A few more days, follow up call number two. Same response. Today (about a week and a half since the second call) I call one last time before I take my order back, and not only does it take 5 minutes to find my order in the system despite me providing my name, phone number, order number, AND email, I was put on hold and then hung up on after a few minutes.

      This location is TERRIBLE with customer service, from management down. I don’t even want what I ordered anymore, I just want my money back. I imagine that process is going to be a struggle as well.

      Just had to have a string changed. The repair person (didn’t get a chance to catch their name) did a fantastic job!! Big red beard and glasses. Super quick, professional, and polite. Really appreciate their service.
