Ample free parking and a variety of entertainment, eateries, and services, the center is truly a staple in the area. It even houses a public community center available for meetings, gatherings and more.

    University Mall is a staple to the local residents and the George Mason University community. The 182,366 square foot property underwent a full scale $35 million redevelopment, renovation, which included a 15,000 square foot expansion of Giant supermarket, which reopened to the public in late 2016. The center offers a wide variety of restaurants, retail, and personal service vendors, including Orange Theory, McAlister’s Deli, Oh George!, Sola Salon, Teddy Bear Daycare, Sunoco gas station, and Taco Bomba, Several buildings within the property are LEED certified and the redeveloped design has helped the center flourish.

      I really enjoyed discovering this interesting little mall. It has different choices for places to eat, some unique stores like The Comic Store and a 24 hour Game Cave. Walk in exercise center for pilates!!! A cute old-school movie theater with the best ticket prices I’ve seen in a long while. And a supermarket! I bet the students from George Mason Univ., across the road, love it.

      It’s a mall. There’s nothing inherently wrong with malls or inherently great about malls. University Mall has Giant for convenient grocery shopping, FedEx for convenient shipping services, a tailor for convenient tailoring and dry cleaning, and a few food options that make it appealing, but the overall layout is somewhat confusing and the parking and traffic situation make it completely unappealing even at moderately busy times.

      Has some good places. Giant foods is nice after renovation a few years ago. Oh George is a nice bar/grill with excellent craft beer selection. Food is good too. Recommend pizza and bufallo cauliflower. Saturday night Rocky Horror Picture Show at University Mall Cinema.

      There are some stores that require you to wear a mask. Like Giant. They definitely lost my business and that of my family and office.

      Alot of neat little store’s since the remodel alit nicer than it was great upgrade.
